You're making me fly in my thoughts of you (I'm losing myself in your thoughts)
All 30 days in a month, I think about you
Like a bell in temple(my heart), you always ring
You're making me forget the basics which I learnt during my schooling
I would change the day we met into a festival
In this life, what else is more bigger than this?
Come my dear Saroja!
Come and take it! Kanu reppala dhuppatilo Ninnu vecchaga dhaachukunta, muddhuga choosukunta Okati, rendu, moodu pootala Naa pedhavula anchullo ninnu maatala maarchukunta, navvula penchukunta, paadukunta kottha paatala Massakali maikam lona, mein deewaana Manassaagaanantunnnaadhe Yentha aapina Rendu, moodu chaalavnta Naalugaidhu kaavaali kallu Intha andhamaina pilla sonthamaithe aagadhe dil u Tu Aaja Saroja
(Masakali is the NAME of a pigeon in movie "Delhi 6". They refer to peace in "Delhi 6". Here lyricist refers to heroine as Pigeon)
In the blanket of my eyelids, I will take care of you with warmth, affection all the time
On my lips, I will convert you as a word, will grow you as my smile, will sing you like a new song
In this magic , I'm lost
My heart says it wouldn't stop, how much ever I try
2 eyes wouldn't he enough to see her
My happiness would cross leaps and boundaries if I get this breath taking beauty!
My dear Saroja, Come!
Even if I'm deep sleep, your footsteps can wake me up
It's like moon gas come to earth by mistake, when you walk Infront of me
You've some magnetic power,
Which is pulling into some kind of mess
Like a skilled thief, you've slid down from eyes into my heart
Stop stealing things, I would make you pay back!:)
My dear Saroja, Come!
Come, take it!
Movie: Dr Cabbie
Music: Pama Sarai, Manj Ral
Lyrics: Manak E, Ajay Virmani
Singers: Manj Musik, Raftaar
Music Label: Eros
The Big Bang Theory's Rajesh Koothrapalli aka Raj i.e. Kunal Nayyar acts in Canadian-Indian film Dr Cabbie alongside Isabel Kaif, younger sister of Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, and this is the first song of the film.
The song is a performance of Shahid Kapoor - Haider - in front of KK and Tabu's characters who are actually the people he is talking about in the song. However, this is more like codewords, so they wouldn't understand in the beginning, and it'd settle in slowly as the story proceeds. At the end when he comes to precise details of Baramulla's Shirinpur, it'd get crystal clear to KK what he's talking, while Tabu, who is the 'bulbul' of this story, is the one Haider wants to be aware of the situation. How much and whether she understands would be seen in the movie only I believe.
Vasuda Sharma is a composer, singer, songwriter, arranger who has composed for Makrand Deshpande's Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu. Her latest song Maula is out with a wonderful video. The lyrics and translation follow.
Music: Sneha Khanwalkar
Lyrics: Ikram Rajasthani
Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Resmi Sateesh
Music Label: T-Series
Engine ki Seeti, or Anjan ki Seeti as Resmi Sateesh sings it, is a beautiful track based on Rajasthani folk song Anjan ki seeti mein mharo man dole. The song is recreated by Sneha, who is known for tapping folk music and mixing it with electronica etc., and the lyrics are rewritten by Ikram Rajasthani. However, it's the singing of the song that is the real fun.
Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar can always be a deadly combination. Vishal Bhardwaj and Vishal Dadlani have been a hit once. Vishal Bhardwaj and Rock are something very good, though quite underrated (remember Paanch? That was a rock album at the beginning of the millennium). And Vishal Dadlani and Rock go quite hand in hand.
To tell the truth, the chances were pretty good that the song would come out well. But it's a gem that comes once in a while even from Vishal Bhardwaj's kitty. It was a treat to listen to in the trailer itself, and now that the full song is here, I have a feeling that it may well be the best thing in the movie, even if the movie is as good as I expect it to be. Listen to the song if you haven't. It's a must.
And yeah, the sleep Gulzar sahab is talking about is the eternal sleep.
Album: Kuchh Dil Ne Kaha
Composer: Ahmed Hussain, Mohammad Hussain
Lyricist: Harsh Brahmbhatt
Artist: Javed Ali
Publisher: Red Ribbon Entertainment
Javed Ali is a talented singer, and one of those who like to explore beyond the regular lines. He has been there in numerous Bollywood songs, but other than that, he has been on TV, sung for independent films like Kaafiron ki Namaaz, and been singing Ghazals. Here is a ghazal sung by him, a composition by Ahmed Hussain and Mohammad Hussain.
Tevar [Devnagari:तेवर] is a Hindi word which though literally means a frown, is used mostly for an attitude or anger. While the phrase 'tevar chadhna' would mean 'to get angry', the word can most commonly be traced as being used for 'attitude'.
For example, if you say, 'Tevar to dekho ladke ke', you'd mean, 'See the attitude of the boy.' Of course the meaning of the attitude here is the informal one, as tevar would not mean a positive or supportive attitude, but an angry kind.
Based quite on the original Singham title track by Ajay-Atul, Meet Bros Anjjan create Singham Returns title track with Mika, a little more on the typical musical side compared to the fiery original sung by Sukhwinder Singh.
Aata Majhi Satakli is a Marathi, idiomatic phrase whose literal meaning is 'now my mind has moved', but the contextual meaning is of course different.
Something like Hindi phrase 'dimag khisakna' or 'dimag chalna', which would literally mean the same, the meaning here is that I am going mad now, so you better not mess with me anymore, like a warning.
The dialog, which was in Singham and is now a song as well in the sequel Singham Returns, was written by Farhad-Sajid, who directed Akshay Kumar's [It's] Entertainment.
