Laung da Lashkara Meaning

Laung da Lashkara, or Laungda Lashkara, the way they seem to have written the title of the song in Patiala House, means the twinkle of Laung; Laung being a small piece of jewelery that is worn in the nose.

  3. kyonki purane zamane me ladies apni nose me 'laung' pehan liya karti thi jo ki aaj bhi kahi kahi per tradition me h, kahin kahin per unmarried girl's aaj bhi pehnati h, fir baad me dhire dhire jewelers ne usi ko gold ka bana kar usme diamond wagairah lagana shuru kar diya ar wo kafi hit hua..
