"LAG GAYI" - length of "KATORA" turned out to be -length of "KUAAN" - or "KUAAN" MEIN chota "CHOOHA" turned into "KALA NAAG"...

(i.e. the son failed to turn out in his father's image)
"lag gayi" here means not so much "I was damned," but "I got screwed"
In the last verse,
"Life's a two-wheeled scooter that goes (only) if shoved"
And the bridge verse, which (as another commenter noted) is missing from your translation above, means:
Who robbed whom?
Whose forehead split how?
Who knows...
