Movie: Daas Dev (2018)
Music: Sandesh Shandilya
Lyrics: Faiz Ahmad 'Faiz'
Singer: Papon, Shradha Mishra
Label: Zee Music Company
This song of Daas Dev is made up of two different (to the best of my knowledge) poems (or I could say, long couplets) of Faiz Ahmad Faiz. The first one begins at raat yoon, and goes till qaraar aa jaaye. The second one begins at tanhaayi mein, and goes till gardan-e-mahtaab mein baahein. At the end of the song, the two couplets have been joined quite beautifully. Here though, the lines aren't repeated for the sake of simplicity of understanding.
Faiz's poetry has also been used by Vishal Bhardwaj in Haider's gulon mein and aaj ke naam.

Aaj ke Naam Lyrics Translation | Haider
Movie: Haider
Music: Vishal Bhardwaj
Poetry: Faiz Ahmad 'Faiz'
Singer: Rekha Bharadwaj
Label: Junglee Music
The song Aaj ke naam is actually taken from a poem of 'Faiz' called 'intisaab', meaning 'dedication', and is simply one. The songs of the album can be bought HERE.
[Translation note: 'ke naam' might literally sound like meaning 'the name of', but it would actually mean 'dedicated to', and hence, is translated as '(a dedication) to...']

Gulon mein Rang Bhare Lyrics Translation | Haider
Movie: Haider
Music: Vishal Bhardwaj
Ghazal: Faiz Ahmad 'Faiz'
Singer: Arijit Singh
The famous ghazal of Faiz keeps getting more mainstream and more popular by the day. After being sung by Mehdi Hassan and Jagjit Singh, the ghazal has been in Bollywood too, though in the form of a song with just the Mukhda borrowed from the original [Mohit Chauhan/KK, Film: Sikandar]. This time it's none other than Vishal Bhardwaj composing it for Arijit Singh to sing. A slow track, it begins with a sher in between and then comes to the beginning. Expect that to be Gulzar Sahab's way.
