Movie: Bombay Velvet
Music: OP Nayyar, Remixed by Mikey McCleary
Lyrics: Majrooh Sultanpuri
Singer: Suman Sridhar
Label: Zee Music Company
The original song, composed by OP Nayyar and sung by Geeta Dutt for the film CID, could not be included in the film because of censor board's objection, probably due to the picturization of the song. However, the intended meaning of the word fifi/fiffy is not too clear.

Talaash: Review, Lyrics, Meanings, Translations
All songs are composed by Ram Sampath with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar. Lyrics are good in almost all the songs and make a strong point of the album which didn't otherwise have so much scope for variety in terms of music.
1. Muskaanein Jhoothi Hain
Singer: Suman Sridhar
The 'Caberette' song. Well written. Well composed. Fittingly sung.
2. Jee Le Zara
Singer: Vishal Dadlani
Background stuff. Well sung by Vishal. Nice composition but takes time to grow on you.
3. Jiya Lage Na
Singer: Sona Mohapatra, Ravindra Upadhyay
Traditionally speaking, the best song of the album. Sona is lovely and Ravindra's is a nice voice, though he sounds a lot like Sukhwinder here. Must listen.
4. Hona Hai Kya
Singer: Ram Sampath
Lyrics are nice. Song takes long to grow on you, but isn't bad.
5. Laakh Duniya Kahe Tum Nahi Ho
Singer: Ram Sampath
The better song sung by Ram. Simple, romantic, nice.

Muskaanein Jhoothi hain: Lyrics, Translation (Talaash)
Movie: Talaash
Music: Ram Sampath
Lyrics: Javed Akhtar
Singer: Suman Sridhar (Known for Hawa Hawai and Khoya Khoya Chaand remixes created by Micket McClearey in Shaitan)
Raat mein hi jaagte hain
Ye gunaahon ke ghar
In ki raahein, khole baahein
Jo bhi aaye idhar
They are awake in the night only,
these houses of sins..
their paths open their arms (and welcome)
whoever comes here..
Ye hai gumraahon ka raasta
Muskaanein jhoothi hain
Pehchaanein jhoothi hain
Rangeeni hai chhaayi
Phir bhi hai tanhaayi
