[Here Amitabh has used a lot of proverbial references and connected them with physical things. 'rassi jal gayi par bal nahi gaya' (lit: the rope is burnt but the twist is still there) is a proverb referring to someone who has lost everything, i.e. the reason to be proud, but is still as proud. This arrogance/pride is used in the first line here with reference of a rope. Also, oonchi naak, literally a high nose, is a proverb used for an arrogant person, and here it's connected to a physical high nose.]
