Gori Tere Pyaar Mein: Trailer, Dialogs, Translation, Analysis

The trailer begins with Imran's ironic dialog. Ironic because it seems he talking to the Kareena's father in the film, while Kareena is shown to be 'different', and not Imran.

He says, "Mere Andar Bahut kuch hai, jo meri age ke ladkon mein nahi hai." That is, "There is a lot in me, that is not there in boys my age."

He continues with, "Mere Appa agar yahaan hote, wo kehte," (my father would say, had he been here-) and there is a footage of his father commenting on him, saying "Kaala Dhabba, family ke naam par kaala dhabba". That is, you're a black spot, on the name of our family.

"Jo bhi ho, mujh se do kadam aage hai aap ki beti", that is, "Whatever it is, your daughter is two steps ahead of me," comes next.

The next footage is Kareena in front of Bangalore's Freedom Park, where Anna Hazare's supporters gathered during his protests too. However, this is a generic protest, not mentioning Anna or anyone else.

Then there is a phrase written that reads, "The Hardcore Kraantee Queeen", that is, 'The hardcore revolution queen', kranti meaning revolution.

However, Kranti is written wrong here. It should be क्रांति, but they wrote क्रांती.

How Will The Movie Go Goa Gone Be?

Again, we haven't seen the movie. But based on the trailers, director, actors, and their records, we'll try to guess. There we go.

The trailers were fine, the songs are okay, the directors' record is good. And the actors are not bad, and can perform at times. Even Saif Ali Khan can come up with a good comic timing, though his last two films weren't that great.

Besides, as directors, Raj Nidmoru and Krishna DK have some good movies to their credit, including Shor in the City and 99, though neither got too popular, mostly because of not over-the-top marketing budgets.

And yes, the songs and the trailers of the movie have been good. Dialogs are funny, as much as we have heard them yet. So our guess is, the movie should be a good time pass. However, we'll not suggest you the movie that highly if you're a regular Hollywood fan and have seen a lot of Zombie films, because in that case you'll not have much new there.

Btw, it's an 'A' rated movie, due to the violence in the film, and the gore content.

How Will the Movie Gippi Be?

This is not a movie review. We haven't yet seen the movie, but based on the trailers, directors, actors, their past records and other factors, we try to guess how the movie would be. It's certainly not an exact thing, but we will give you the best opinion we can, unless there is an opinion based on the actual movie.

Gippi is a film based on teenagers' problems, and seems to have a little different treatment. The movie is expected to look more real compared to most teenage movies which revolve completely around crushes and first loves. Also, though the director Sonam Nair is new, her credentials are strong with an assistant director's credit for Wake Up Sid.

On the negative side, there are no big stars in the movie, and other than Divya Dutta there is no one on which you can rely for a good performance. However, the trailers look okay and you can expect at least okay performances if not too great.

Our guess is that the movie, Gippi, should be good, at least not too bad. Though you should avoid it if you want to keep away from children/teens' problems. It's not expected to be a must watch, but if you're planning a movie, this could be a good option.
