Singham Meaning

Simple as that. Singham means a Lion. Sher in Hindi.

Interestingly, Singham is basically a Sanskrit word and all the languages, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi share the same meaning for the word, though all the languages haven't used the same title Singam/Singham for the movie.

Singham is pure Tamil........... This movie is a remake of tamil singam....... info here is misleading......sanskrit lion is refereed as simha....... this shadows the tamil original film.....

What about "simha"? That also means lion correct? I hear it in South films a lot.
