Mere Babaji niharen aasman se: Lyrics, Translation (Kailasa)

Album: Rangeele
Band: Kailasa

ek achambha gaaun
main man ke thaath sunaun
ek achambha gaaun main
man ke thaat sunaun jab kabhi kabhi
o mere babaji niharen aasman se
mere babbaji nihaaren aasmaan se

ek achambha gaaun
main man ke thaath sunaun
ek achambha gaaun main
man ke thaat sunaun jab kabhi kabhi
o mere babaji niharen aasman se
mere babbaji niharen aasman se

I sing a wonder,
I tell the (story of my) heart's splendor,
I sing a miracle,
as I tell the story of my) heart's splendor sometimes,
my babaji* looks at me from the sky,
my babaji looks at me from the sky..

koi samjhega samjhanhaara ho nistara
kaise bin bhakti
aji koi sachcha sabad sumir le bharam samajh lai
pa jaave mukti
un ke nain nain ki chhaya sab jag paray paray
are jab baitha unki godi tu kyun daray daray
sab hai paas tere tu kya maange bhagwan se
o mere babaji niharen aasman se

someone who understands would understand how (the problem, of world)
can be solved without devotion,
someone who remembers (learns) the true holy words would get the illusion (of world)
and get salvation..
the shadow of His eyes falls on the whole world,
when you're sitting in His lap, why are you afraid..
you have everything, what do you ask for from God..
my babaji looks at me from the sky..

ek achambha gaaun
main man ke thaath sunaun
ek achambha gaaun main
man ke thaat sunaun jab kabhi kabhi
o mere babaji niharen aasman se
mere babbaji niharen aasman se

kabhi behlaweN man sehlaweN tan muskaweN taktak mukh mera
teen tirlok basain tere ghat bheetar batlaawen, mitaaven andhera
kabhi behlawe man sehlawe tan muskawen taktak mukh mera
teen tirlok basain tere ghat bheetar batlawen, mitaven andhera
o koi pyaara jag se nyara ya koi jogi japi
uda saa dooba dooba sa ho jiski bhang mati
hansta hansta rehta hoon unke vardaan se,
o mere babaji niharen aasmaan se..

(He) sometimes amuses my heart, caresses my body, smiles looking at my face,
tells me that (all) three worlds live within my heart, removes the darkness,
some beloved, different from the world, some hermit,
someone who is as if flying, flowing, whose mind is gone,
I keep laughing (as in, live my life happily) with his boon,
O my babaji looks at me from the sky..

ek achambha gaaun
main man ke thaath sunaun
ek achambha gaaun main
man ke thaat sunaun jab kabhi kabhi
o mere babaji niharen aasman se
mere babaaji niharen aasman se
mere baabaji niharen aasman se
mere babajee niharen aasman se

* babaji is a very common term which is mostly used for one's grandfather as well as very elderly people. The word is also used for holy men out of respect. But here, the word, though not clearly, is used for God. Here, the poet seems to have claimed God as someone very close to him spiritually and hence says that he need not worry about anything as his babaji, He, is watching him from up there.
