Murshid is a commonly used Urdu word of Arabic root, and one that is often heard in Bollywood songs as well. Murshid could mean a teacher, spiritual leader, or a religious leader, someone who is expected to show you the right path in life, a guide in that way.

Aflatoon today is a word that is used for an eccentric, sometimes even a mad person.
As such, the word is a distorted form of Plato, which cannot be spoken in Arabic due to absence of 'P' sound and ended up becoming Aflatoon, and was picked up in Urdu and subsequently by some Hindi speakers, also because of the interesting sound the word makes.
As for the meaning, it probably comes from the questioning, curious nature of Plato, which is considered strange by common people.

Well, years ago when I heard the line Yaar mere Yaara mere Yaaram, I had an instant dislike for the lyrics of the catchy Baadal song. Reason: I thought it was a cheap, mindless play on the Urdu origin word which tried to add a Sanskrit style -am suffix to it.

Well, Yaaram seems to be a word in Afghani, and may well have come there from Persian. In fact this could be the root of the common Hindi-Urdu word Yaar (common informal word for friend).
So ending the suspense (if there was any), Yaaram means a beloved, a lover, and my guess would be, even a friend. As for reference, there is a popular song called Bewafa Yaaram (unfaithful lover) in Afghani, by Ahmad Zahir.

Basically the meaning here is that contrary to the proverb 'Ishq aur mushq chhupaye nahi chhupte', which means Love and Fragrance cannot be hidden, the poet here says that we should welcome, enjoy and rejoice love and fragrances, say, instead of even trying to hide them.
